McAlpine VP1 Ventapipe 25 Air Admittance Valve with 1.1/2 Inch BSP thread on outlet is designed to allow air into the drainage system to prevent siphoning or pressure build-up that can disrupt trap seals and potentially release foul odors.
This A1 rated AAV has an Air flow capacity of 3 l/s ahd the 1.1/2 Inch BSP thread on the outlet allows for connection to standard plumbing fittings.
